Wes Baris' steam list shows the following two PRR Decapods, but I was
almost certain that there is only one left. I suspect that the two
listings are just one locotive with some confusion about numbers and
ownership, especially since the numbers are only one digit different
ond the owners are nearly the same. The question is, which listing is
correct?

4463 I-1 2-10-0 PRR Western NY Chapter NRHS, Depew, NY
4483 I-1sa 2-10-0 PRR Western NY RY Hist Soc, Hamburg, NY

From: "Brian J. Carlson" Subject: Pennsy I-1sa 4483 To: Multiple recipients of list RAILROAD There appears to be some confusion on the last surviving I-1. I'll set the record straight. The PRR I-1sa 4483 is located in Hamburg NY. It is owned by the Western New York Railway Historical Society. This society is not a NRHS chapter. The NRHS chapter in the area is the Niagara Frontier Chapter of the NRHS of which I am a member. The PRR I-1 is/was supposed to be cosmetically restored and to my knowledge that is still the plan but there is no money for it. If anyone on the list would like for information on the I-1sa or the society in general I could post it to the list.
