What should be inside automatic signal 2679? It appears as a circle containing
a blob.

What should be inside automatic 2686? Best I can tell, is a vertical rectangle
with a "/" diagonal line in it. Should it be a vertical pointed rectangle, given
this is an automatic? (If pointed, it would surely point down on the map, of
course.)

On the copy used for scanning, automatic signal 2679 was a blob: a total loss.
Does anyone have a cleaner copy?

Can someone explain the graphical elements making up the grade crossing flashers?
Open circles are flashing lights, circle with X is probably a bell. What are
the horizontal rectangles with an X?

On the 24L signal, arm "a" is clear on the original, but "b" is not: on the left
is a box with a "\" diagonal; but what should be on the right: a filled-in or open
vertical rectangle?

What is the significance of the filled-in rectangles being on opposite sides on
arms a and b of signal 1R?

Finally, any help explaining the switch terminlogy esoterica would be appreciated.
I.e. what are the following:
   S232-B
   S230-B
   T-20
   T-10
   SLM
   <number>WK<superscript>a<end superscript>
   P.D.
   P.C. = pipe-connected? (derail)
   et cetera.

Why do signals 495 and 520 have an additional "1D" and "2D"?
