Makeup - Block Classification
  1. Waverly-Newark Classification, including perishables for Asbury Park, N.J., Long Branch, N.J., and other points on NY&LB RR.
  2. Meadows Classification.
  3. Jersey City Ball Ground perishable.
  4. Harsimus Cove Classification, except as provided for in Blocks 3 and 5. To include perishable only for Erie RR & NYS&W-Marion; DL&W-Kearny Jct.; West Shore RR (See NOTE 2 on Page 2), Hoboken Mfg.'s RR-Jersey City; NYC RR-60th St. or 68th St., New York; perishable for Pier 28, New York (Citrus, fruits, peaches etc. to be blocked as per special arrangement).
  5. Livestock for Jersey City (to include livestock for points on and via NYNH&H RR not rested at Potomac Yard); also livestock for LI RR; DL&W-Kearny Jct.; Erie and NYS&W RR-Marion; Hoboken Mfg.'s RR and West Shore RR via Jersey City; and NYC RR via 68th St.-New York.

Pick up as per makeup.

  1. Harsimus Cove Classification (from Baltimore).
  2. Waverly-Newark Classification, including Perishables for Points on NY&LB RR (from Baltimore).
  3. Waverly-Newark Classification, including perishables for points on NY&LB RR (from Potomac Yard).
  4. Meadows Classification (from Potomac Yard).
  5. Jersey City Ball Ground perishable (from Potomac Yard).
  6. Harsimus Cove Classification, except as provided for in Blocks 5 and 7. To include perishable only for Erie RR and NYS&W-Marion; DL&W-Kearny Jct.; West Shore RR, Hoboken Mfg.'s RR-Jersey City; NYC RR-60th St. or 68th St., New York; perishable for Pier 28, New York (Citrus, fruits, peaches etc. to be blocked as per special arrangement) (from Potomac Yard).

Connection to WA-8 same day. NJC-1 on Tues., Thurs. and Sunday.

MEADOWS -
Set off Block 4, holding onto Block 1.

HARSIMUS COVE -
Perishable for Jersey City Ball Ground, i.e., fresh fruits, vegetables, melons and white potatoes to be placed by 10.00 p.m. prevailing time day of arrival.
Perishable for Pier 28, New York to be made available for early delivery day of arrival.
Perishable for Connecting Lines to be delivered as follows:
To Erie RR - Marion by 2.00 AM next day.
To West Shore Railroad - Jersey City by 2.45 AM next day.
To DL&W Railroad - Kearny Junction by 3.00 AM next day.
To NYS&W Railroad - Marion by 4.00 AM next day.

NOTE 1 -
When sufficient traffic at Potomac Yard to warrant the operation of two or more sections of Train MD-12, efforts must be directed toward the assembling and dispatching of solid trains for Harsimus Cove and likewise solid trains for Waverly and Meadows; also in the dispatching thereof, preference must be given - dependent upon availability of tonnage - to the forwarding of Harsimus Cove train first and as much in advance of schedule as receipt of traffic will permit.

NOTE 2 -
West Shore RR - Harsimus Cove block to include all traffic destined to Troy, Albany, Schenectady, and Utica[,] all in New York State; also all points in the State of Massachusetts when routed via PRR-Jersey City-West Shore RR (NYC RR). Freight for other destinations[,] other than perishables routing via West Shore RR - Jersey City to be handled in Meadows Classification.
